- String Bass players have the opportunity to be considered for acceptance into one of the CBDA All-State Bands. Bass players must indicate on their application, which ensembles they wish to audition for.

Schools with small or growing music programs may qualify for a School Fee Waiver. Information can be found at the bottom of our FAQs page.
Audition Excerpts and Instructions
Please contact Trish Adams at tadams@codaorchestras.org if you have any questions regarding the audition materials after speaking with your school music director. Please do not reach out to the guest conductors with audition questions.

Winds/Percussion:
CODA runs the High School All-State Orchestra auditions for string players only. Wind, Brass and Percussion students who wish to audition for All-State Orchestra must do so through CBDA. For more information please go to www.cbda.org.
